Biography

Merrily Schultz is formerly of Vancouver, WA and now makes her home in Pennsylvania. She has been clowning for over 10 years keeping very busy at various events throughout the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast of the United States. Merrily has taken the art of face painting to an exciting level by incorporating abstract art as part of her designs, making her a favorite at the Clark County Fair, and various festivals, fairs and corporate events. In addition to her strolling comedy act, Merrily also performs on stage in vaudeville revues. Most recently she has appeared at the Silverton Follies in Silverton, Oregon, the Bend Centennials Celebration Vaudeville show in Bend, Oregon and The Greatest Clown Show On Earth in Whidbey Island, Washington. Merrily has been part of the staff of the Comedifest for five years. Having served in several capacities from Public Relations in 2003, to assistant director in 2004 & for the Comedifest Intensive in 2005, and the director of the Comedifest 2006. She returned to the Comedifest in 2007 as an instructor and was awarded the 2007 Comedifest "Clown with Passion" award by the staff for her years of dedication and unselfish willingness to help in whatever capacity she was needed.
